The trip to Wildwood is about 9 hrs, so we broke it up by staying overnight in Albany, NY. and doing a little shopping.

Once we hit the New Jersey boarder, it rained all the rest of the way, so not a very interesting drive.  Once we arrived, the kids met us there.  The rest of that day it drizzled.  We walked on the boardwalk just the same.  There were lots going on.

Friday and Saturday were sunny, most of the kids got sun burnt even with sunscreen.  It is amazing the traffic on the weekends.  Just across the street there is a parking for the beach and boardwalk and the price varies from $5 to $20 depending on the day and time of day.  Every Friday, there are fireworks and we could see them from the motel, which was great.  We are about a block and a half from the boardwalk.

The pool at the motel was so warm, the temperature was 95F.

Sunday, we had tickets to the musical FAME at the Tropicana in Atlantic city.  It was a great show.  We walk a little on the boardwalk, in Atlantic city, there the beach is closer to the boardwalk than in Wildwood.

We found a little restaurant, just across the street that serves breakfast and great pizza, it is called Munchies.

Monday, we went to Cape May, such a beautiful town with lots of Victorian houses.  We had lunch and came back to Wildwood.  Around 4PM it started raining again.

We left Wildwood early in the morning and got home early evening.  We had great weather for the return.
